We built this website to showcase our home Bedrock and Palm Cove. Palm Cove is an amazing area on the Northern Beaches of Cairns, just 25 minutes from Cairns International Airport.
The location is fantastic because you can wander back into Cairns and all that it has to offer as well as explore all the local attractions of Palm Cove and the Northern Beaches.
Palm Cove is also a really convenient location for day trips up Port Douglas and the Daintree Forest. Port Douglas is only 45 minutes up the highway, along the beautiful and scenic Captain Cook Highway.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be looking at many of the amazing things that there are to do in Cairns, Palm Cove and up the coast towards Port Douglas and the Daintree. Stay tuned to imagine yourself enjoying some relaxing time in the tropical North, getting away from winters or just for a change of scene.
Generally May through to October is when most people decide to come and visit, because winter is our dry season, so you can expect warm days of 24-28*C with blue skies and light breezes. It’s a great escape from the winters down in the Southern parts of Australia. That’s not to say that the rest of the year isn’t popular as well though.
